The web can bring you GREAT results. But don't expect miracles. A website is not a savior and it won't bring in crowds of customers once it's launched. Probably no one will even wander onto it. What to do when it's already cost you so much money?
Mistake: you rely on the web more than you should
Do you have a new website? Awesome! But don't make the same mistake as thousands of entrepreneurs before you. Don't just rely on him.
The web is amazing a tool that:
- can generate demand,
- builds trust and a professional image,
- brings new contacts,
- makes money.
But there is one BUT. For the website to work, someone has to visit it. And the web alone simply won't provide that.
How to get people to the web?
I've spoken to a number of disappointed clients who have had to go through the process of launching the site tame high expectations. That is why I will ask you before the actual creation of the website:
Think about how you will bring people to the site.
There is no shortage of ways to do this:
1. SEO
SEO is laborious, tedious, but in unbeatable in the long run. It starts to be worked on during the creation of the website (technical papers, web texts,...) and continues after the start (new content, pages, articles).
It's not free, but it's an investment to organic traffic in the future. I know, you want to ask if SEO is dead yet. The answer is NO. Check out our article where we describe, why write a blog even in the age of AI.
2. SoMe
Option 2 = Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook or TikTok. In short, any social network, where your target audience spends their time.
Posts on networks have a big advantage. The algorithm pushes them so that they have a much higher reach than a new article on no name blog.
And how do you get people from the networks to your website? Send them in! Tell them what they'll find there and what it will bring them. But beware, it has to be REALLY something to make it worth their while to leave the much addictive net. 🙂
3. PPC
What is not in SEO must be in PPC. Even advertising in search or on social networks is a way to attract people to a blog. You just have to find room for it in your budget.
What to choose? The best way is of course a combination of all methods - advertising, SEO building and social media promotion.
To functional web?
